Tanya is a Nutritional Therapist who uses a functional medicine approach. Her focus lies on addressing the root causes of disease, rather than only managing symptoms.
Inspired by her own firsthand experience of health struggles, Tanya has seen the impact of food choices on her own health and is passionately dedicated to helping improve the lives of others facing similar challenges.
There is a myriad of advice surrounding nutrition, which at times is conflicting and can be overwhelming. For this reason Tanya joins you on your health journey and provides a tailor made plan to suit you, your lifestyle and needs. In addition to one-to-one consultations Tanya can help you to practically implement your diet plan by accompanying you food shopping; providing advice regarding nutritional labels, pointing out which products you should avoid, and of course showing you suitable alternatives so that you do not feel too restricted.
Life is busy and always doing what’s best for your health whilst keeping up with your routine and lifestyle is difficult. “By integrating nutrition into my lifestyle I have been able to create a healthy balance, and I want to help you create your own.”
Tanya conducts corporate programmes, giving practical advice on ways to stay healthy whilst at work and on-the-go. She can provide large groups with individual basic measurements that can give an indication of your overall health. “Paying attention to nutrition does not have to begin when a condition is diagnosed; instead it should be an integrated part of our lifestyles. Having this proactive approach towards health with using nutrition as a preventative measure is more effective than waiting to manage symptoms.” Tanya also holds interactive workshops in schools, educating children of all ages on the importance of nutrition, health and body image.
Working alongside the medical profession, with access to an array of other experts such as psychologists and personal trainers, Tanya’s down to earth approach will put you at ease knowing you are in good hands. Tanya also works closely with local laboratories for blood tests and samples if necessary.

Tanya completed her clinical practice at BCNH College of Nutrition and Health - an NTEC accredited college following her BSc(hons) in Nutrition. Tanya is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is registered with The Association For Nutrition.
